At Clearer View Counselling, the aim is to provide a comfortable and supportive environment where individuals can work towards improving their emotional health and well-being. I believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling and happy life.
If you're ready to seek support or would like to make changes in your life, I invite you to book a counselling session with me. Let me support you in creating positive change and finding clarity in your life.
Person-Centred Therapy is talk therapy in which you as the client does most of the talking. The therapist will not actively direct conversation in sessions, or judge or interpret what you say, but they may restate your words in an effort to fully understand your thoughts and feelings (and to help you do the same).
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy that helps clients overcome their concerns by changing their thinking, behaviour and emotional responses.
You as the client will take an active part in therapy and will plan with your therapist some tasks or homework between sessions to help you move forward and reach goals that you would like to achieve.
This process gets you actively involved in your own therapeutic journey so that you can become your own therapist by applying skills and techniques to patterns of thinking and behaving.
Walk and talk therapy enables clients to take the traditional counselling experience outdoors. If you feel that sitting in one room with a counsellor may feel uncomfortable or claustrophobic that this type of therapy may feel more comfortable for you.
In your initial appointment we will discuss what you would like to achieve in your therapy and together decide what techniques will be best to use to achieve the best results for.
I have been working as a counsellor for over 18 years. I am here to help you work through any struggles you have and help you to work towards achieving your goals. I have worked with adults, families and young people and truly believe that everyone has the capacity to change and grow if they wish to do so.
I understand that each individual is unique, which is why I will tailor our counselling sessions to meet your specific needs and goals.
I am a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and the Complimentary Medical Association.

My Grandson a few years ago was prone to outbursts of anger that he didn't seem to be able to control! It was picked up on in school and they suggested he may be able to have 'anger management' with Natalie. Have to say it was the best thing he ever did. He has gone from strength to strength and no longer seems to struggle with anger! He deals with issues as he goes along and I have to say is the most chilled laid back of them all. Can't praise Natalie enough. - KG
Thank you for counselling me and helping me this past year. Before I met you I didn't feel comfortable being fully honest about my situation or feelings, but our sessions really have done a lot for me that will last me a lifetime. - AK
Thank you for your listening, insightful questioning and advice. Everything you've done and said has changed my mind for the better and gave me the courage to stand up for what I truly deserve. Major props and gratitude to you. - AS
